I'm a Beach Boy

So much has been going on....where to begin? My world changed....we moved to Huntington Beach at the beginning of this week. My Mom and Dad found out we were moving two weeks ago...so things have been CRAZY!! For starters...my Dad had to go down to Southern California to start his job without my Mom and I. We had to stay behind to pack up our house. Thank heavens Grandma Shauna came and pretty much did it all!! My Mom is a nut case! But, I sure missed my Dad. I cuddle with him every morning...right in his armpit...so I was not happy that week he was gone. My Mom is great and all, but she is NOT my DAD!! Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I got my "armpit" back.

There has been all sorts of craziness going on in my new home. Something about the washing machine flooding and then the refrigerator. My Mom was ready to cry, but then Grandma Dee and Grandpa Marv came to her rescue. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure she was gonna lose her mind.

Anyhow, my Mom posted some pictures of my first St. Patrick's Day. My Dad says I'm not Irish, but my Mom says nobody would know with a name like Grady (my Dad won't let my Mom put our last name on the internet....but just know that it's very Irish also). So, Mom dressed me in green and bought me my first pair of shorts and flip flops since I live by the beach now. Once she dressed me she was laughing...she said I look like my Dad in my new duds. See for yourself...

This is a picture of me, my Mom and her herpe. Apparently, when she gets really stressed, she gets cold sores on her lip...she calls them herpes. Dad told her not to kiss me with that thing on her lip, but she did anyway. I don't know why he told her that, cuz I saw him kissing her!

My Dad trying to show me how to stand up all by myself. Maybe someday Dad!

Look I did it...for about half a second!

So, do you think I look like my Dad when I wear my "beach wear"? (please say yes, please say yes....Dad is my hero!)

Some Firsts

My Mom and I didn't put the pictures in order, but Mom says it doesn't matter. So, the pictures will tell the story. Enjoy....

Mom, Dad and I went down to So. Cal. for President's Day weekend. Grandpa Jim was very funny. My Mom still says that I'm his "mini-me". What do you think?

This is cousin Jack and I hanging out with my Dad at the mall while my Mom shopped. People kept stopping and asking my dad if we were twins. Silly.

Jack and me again. We look the same height, but Jack is actually taller than me. I was cheating by wearing shoes.

Mom, Dad, Grandpa Marv, Grandma Dee and I went to Valentine's dinner together. I loved the string on her sweatshirt. It felt good on my gums!

My Mom and I on Valentine's Day.

Me.

Dad and I on Valentine's Day.

It snowed at my house the day we left to go see my Grandmas and Grandpas.

My Mom and Dad's cars had a lot of snow on them.

When Grandma Shauna came up at the beginning of February, she bought me a new basketball hoop. It is very entertaining!

Kensley's Mom, Yannette, made us Cat in the Hat hats for Dr. Seuss's birthday. Our crazy Moms tried to take us down to Fairy Tale Land for his birthday party, but it was raining sooo hard it got rained out. The rain was AWESOME!! You should've seen our Moms trying to get everything in the car and us in the car....lets just say they were both absolutely soaking wet!! Seriously, they are crazy ladies!!

I love my Traver chicks (that's Kensley and her Mom)! They have doggies and I try to tell my Mom and Dad that I need one too, but they don't know what I'm saying yet. When I go to Kensley's house I love to watch her doggies...and Ani likes to give me kisses...it tickles. Mom doesn't know but I just pooped my pants.

My Mom says I'm a big boy now cuz I can hold my bottle all by myself!! I do it myself most of the time, but I still like my Mom to do it before I go to sleep.

My Mom started feeding me rice cereal. I don't really like the stuff. It doesn't taste good at all!

But, avocado on the other hand...now that is simply delicious!! I also like bananas. Tonight Mom is gonna give me carrots...what a funny word..carrots.
My Mom took me to the Doctor for my 6 month check up on Friday...I am now 19 pounds 8 & 3/4 ounces and 27 & 1/4 inches long. I got shots...now I have a lump in each leg. Mom says its for my own good. Now you're all caught up with the goings on of me. Exciting stuff!!
