Some Firsts

My Mom and I didn't put the pictures in order, but Mom says it doesn't matter. So, the pictures will tell the story. Enjoy....

Mom, Dad and I went down to So. Cal. for President's Day weekend. Grandpa Jim was very funny. My Mom still says that I'm his "mini-me". What do you think?

This is cousin Jack and I hanging out with my Dad at the mall while my Mom shopped. People kept stopping and asking my dad if we were twins. Silly.

Jack and me again. We look the same height, but Jack is actually taller than me. I was cheating by wearing shoes.

Mom, Dad, Grandpa Marv, Grandma Dee and I went to Valentine's dinner together. I loved the string on her sweatshirt. It felt good on my gums!

It snowed at my house the day we left to go see my Grandmas and Grandpas.

My Mom and Dad's cars had a lot of snow on them.

When Grandma Shauna came up at the beginning of February, she bought me a new basketball hoop. It is very entertaining!

Kensley's Mom, Yannette, made us Cat in the Hat hats for Dr. Seuss's birthday. Our crazy Moms tried to take us down to Fairy Tale Land for his birthday party, but it was raining sooo hard it got rained out. The rain was AWESOME!! You should've seen our Moms trying to get everything in the car and us in the car....lets just say they were both absolutely soaking wet!! Seriously, they are crazy ladies!!

I love my Traver chicks (that's Kensley and her Mom)! They have doggies and I try to tell my Mom and Dad that I need one too, but they don't know what I'm saying yet. When I go to Kensley's house I love to watch her doggies...and Ani likes to give me kisses...it tickles. Mom doesn't know but I just pooped my pants.

My Mom says I'm a big boy now cuz I can hold my bottle all by myself!! I do it myself most of the time, but I still like my Mom to do it before I go to sleep.

My Mom started feeding me rice cereal. I don't really like the stuff. It doesn't taste good at all!

But, avocado on the other hand...now that is simply delicious!! I also like bananas. Tonight Mom is gonna give me carrots...what a funny word..carrots.

My Mom took me to the Doctor for my 6 month check up on Friday...I am now 19 pounds 8 & 3/4 ounces and 27 & 1/4 inches long. I got shots...now I have a lump in each leg. Mom says its for my own good. Now you're all caught up with the goings on of me. Exciting stuff!!

Catch Up

There's quite a bit to catch you up on in my world. But, I am very sleepy right now so I'm telling Mom to hurry it up with the pictures so I can go night night. More pictures will follow soon, I promise. This is what's going on...my Grandma Shauna came to visit me, which was a ton-o-fun! I'm sitting up now (mostly by myself). I went to So. Cal. with my Mom and Dad over the holiday weekend and had a ton more fun. I got to see so much family....even Aunt Kelly and cousin Jack came up to see me from San Diego, and I got to see both my Grandmas and two of my Grandpas. I was spoiled with love and attention!! Happy Birthday!!

Today is my Dad's birthday and my Rachel's birthday!! Crazy huh? I hope that both of them have a great day today!! My Mom and I got my Dad a new guitar and I'm not allowed to say what we got my Rachel yet cuz we haven't mailed it (my Mom is a slacker). She says that we're doing that today. My Mom says that she posted these pictures because we really didn't need to get my Dad a gift. She says I'm his gift. So these pictures are just to remind him of how tiny I was. My Mom loves them because she can tell in his face how quickly he fell in love with me. My Mom is super sappy today. Anyhoo....Happy Birthday Dad and Rachel!!

I still like to sleep like this. Sometimes I wake in the middle of the night and my Dad comes and gets me. He lets me sleep like this still until morning. He's very warm and cozy.

My Mom says he's in love.

My Mom says that this is the first time he held me and he was trying not to cry in front of all the women in the room.

My Dad Rocks!

Literally, my Dad ROCKS!! I love it when he plays me the guitar. I just laugh and laugh. I'm his number one groupie...my Mom says I'm his only groupie. I try to tell him that he needs to play me "eensy weensy spider" but he doesn't understand all the squealing I do. My Uncle Dan plays me the guitar too. He's funny. When I laugh, he laughs. Actually, he laughs at ANYTHING I do. Apparently, he's lacking sufficient entertainment in his life. Uncle Dan comes to visit me at least once a week. He's my fav!!!

I'm trying to show my Dad that I want him to play "eensy weensy spider" for me but he still doesn't get it. I guess I don't do it as good as my Mom does. Whatever he plays is good enough for me though.

#2 & #3

As promised here are #2 and #3 of my favorite things being a BIG 4 month old. I no longer like my "play gym". I need to be sitting up seeing what is going on around me. So my Mom and Dad wised up and got me these:

This is my "jumper". My Aunt Kelly gave it to my Mom and Dad before she moved. She's pretty smart because I LOVE IT!! I sit in it everyday and watch my Mom get ready for the day and sometimes I "hang" out in the office with my Dad while he gets work done. Thanks Aunt Kelly...

This is my "walker". This is a genius invention. I can spend FOREVER in here. See that thing I'm holding onto in the picutre...I love to bite on that..it is heaven to my gums.

And just in case you forgot #3, my Mom made me re-post another picture of my ducky tub. She says its closer up and you can see how cute I am!

So that's it...those are my 3 favorite things for 4 months!!

My 4 Month Loves

I have three new loves. This is my first. My new rubber ducky bath tub!! I LOVE it!! Stay tuned for number two and three.....

I'M LATE!!! I'M SORRY!!!

I'm a slacker and I'm sorry for not posting last week!! For Christmas, I got a cold and an ear infection so I wasn't feeling up to it. And, those antibiotics did not like my gut:( But, I'm over it now and all is well with my gut!! I went to the pediatrician today and I now weigh 16 pounds & 2 1/2 ounces. I am also 26 inches long!! My Mom says I'm getting too big too fast! You should see my cousin Jack though...I'm just trying to catch up to him.

My first Christmas was just another day!! All except my Mom kept getting emotional...she teared up and cried for two days STRAIGHT!! My Dad and I didn't know what to do!! She says they were tears of joy. She never dreamed she would ever have a baby for Christmas and she kept telling my Dad over and over and over again how very lucky they are to have me. And, how very grateful they are for my Rachel. Speaking of my Rachel...thanks for the books. I love them. My Mom reads to me every night and I love it....so it is the perfect gift. Thank you!!

New Year's ....what's that? My Mom, Dad and I went out for a steak dinner and we watched a movie. I was asleep by the time 2009 got here though. I don't even know what 2009 is!! So, what's the big whoop?!?

My Aunt Mary came and visited me again over the weekend. She's fun. Her hair is growing back now and it's longer than mine!! Not too long ago I had a ton more hair than she did!! Anyhow, my Grandma Dee and Grandpa Marv are coming to visit me this weekend...my Mom says I need to rest up for their visit...cuz we're gonna P-A-R-T-Y!!! Man, my Mom is funny!!
